uwecharter-1

In May 2014, UWE Students’ Union was commissioned by the University of the West of England to build an “interactive” and engaging website for the new iteration of the UWE Charter, a document that sets out expectations between the University, students and the Students’ Union.

After being provided the relevant information and after initial mock-ups and feedback, I had set on a full screen page design, where the content was broken up between different sections using the fullpage.js web library and using bright, inspiring and diverse imagery throughout. The website functions fully on desktop, mobile and in print.

The website was regularly mentioned by UWE marketing, and in the first few months it was seen over 7,000 times by students and staff at the University.

As of 2017, the site has been replaced with a UWE branded version as part of their rebrand, and is no longer available to view.
